Options offered during the training course (IDC):
A Divemaster may choose to complete only the course to become Assistant Instructor.
A Divemaster may attend the entire training course for PADI Instructor (IDC) and, after the last successful program, continue supporting the PADI Instructor Examination.
A PADI Assistant Instructor may attend the Open Water Scuba Instructor, and once successfully completed, continue with the PADI Instructor Examination.
An instructor holding a certification issued by another organization may attend the Open Water Scuba Instructor PADI (minimum 4 days) and, after a successful completion, support a PADI Instructor Examination.
Diving instructors or supervisors enrolled in other certification organizations may choose to attend a Training Course for PADI Instructors and once completated it successfully, support a PADI Instructor Examination.
To participate in a training course or a PADI Instructor Corse, PADI Assistant Instructor, a person must:
Having a PADI Divemaster certification or a patent for leadership of another organization, responsible for the training of divers.
Having 18 years;. Be fit to dive by submitting a medical certificate attesting to a specific survey for the draft in the last 12 months.
Having obtained the patent underwater for at least 6 months and have made and recorded at least 60 scuba dives in open water.
Submit documentation demonstrating training in CPR and First Aid achieved in the last 24 months;. Pass the test dive rescue course, if you are not in possession of the patent Divemaster.
Provide documentation relating to patent the basic, advanced, rescue, leadership issued by other organizations for training of divers. (PADI Members do not need to submit it)
Note: In order to address a PADI Instructor Examination, students must have recorded 100 dives.
Services required to complete successfully a training course for PADI Instructors:
Attend and participate in all the twenty lessons of Curriculum.
Play at least 4 exercises on development of teaching skills and achieving a score of at least 3.5 points in at least one.
Play at least 4 exercises in confined waters educational assessment and achieving a score of at least 3.4 points in at least one.
Perform exercises at least 2 teaching in open water (for 2 years each for a total of 4) an assessment and achieving a score of at least 3.4 points in at least one.
Demonstrate skill and competence in executing all the 20 years listed on the diving board of Evaluation Circuit periods PADI reaching a total score of 68 and a score of 3.0 or higher in each year.
Swim 800 meters using snorkel mask and fins, with the face immersed in water and without stopping.
Achieve a score of 75 in every hundred or more in all five tests planned for the Examination of verification for the instructor.
Note: the performance of all 16 of the questionnaires Ripassi of knowledge during the study is considered a prerequisite.
